Meet The Team

Jess - Reformer Pilates teacher at Studio 103 Banff
Jess

Instructor

Jess is a Pilates instructor from Australia. She has been practicing Pilates for the past five years and earned her Reformer Pilates Teaching Certification through Barre Body in 2023. After a severe ankle ligament injury, Jess turned to Pilates as a low impact form of exercise and quickly fell in love with its benefits. Her classes focus on flow and form, creating balanced, full body workouts. She aims to move slowly and with intention, maximizing muscle engagement while minimizing risk of injury - though her classes will still leave you feeling the burn!

Alexis

Owner & Instructor

Alexis is a founder and owner of Studio 103. She began her Pilates journey just over a year ago while marathon training, searching for something to complement her high impact sports - including her love for skiing in the winter. After taking her first Reformer Pilates class in Calgary, she was instantly hooked. With limited options in the Bow Valley, Alexis found herself travelling regularly for classes, which sparked her vision to bring the experience closer to home. Alexis is passionate about creating a welcoming space for movement, connection, and balance & can’t wait to welcome you to the studio.

Chelsea - Reformer Pilates teacher at Studio 103 Banff
Chelsea

Instructor

Originally from Perth, Australia, Chelsea has been coaching in the fitness industry for over four years. She holds Certificates III and IV in Fitness, along with Mat and Reformer Pilates qualifications. After beginning her career in group fitness at F45, she transitioned into the mining sector as a Health & Fitness Coach, where she taught Pilates onsite across Western Australia. Now based in Banff, Chelsea teaches Mat Pilates and is passionate about helping others build strength, mobility, and a deeper mind body connection.

Nicole - Reformer Pilates teacher in Banff
Nicole

Instructor

Nicole is a classically trained Pilates instructor with experience in both fitness & clinical settings, having worked with everyone from Russian ballerinas to NFL players to 84 year old's recovering from surgery. Her movement journey began in baby ballet slippers, evolved through competitive dance, and carried her into adult extracurriculars; surfing, hiking, skiing, and collecting a few bumps along the way. Pilates became her path to recovery and resilience, a practice she's passionate about sharing both in and out of the studio.
